请记得我，当我离开这人世，

到那遥远的沉默之所；

你再无法将我双手轻握，

我也不能将去又将留。

请记得我，你已不能日复一日

对我谈起未来我们的生活；

我只要你记得我，你知道

探讨或祈祷都已来不及。

不过，若某一刻你忘了我

之后又记起，莫要伤悲：

如若黑暗和腐朽能将一切吞没，

你对我的记忆也变得稀微，

你应该忘记和快乐，那好过
